George III rectangular silver nutmeg grater by Matthew Linwood, hallmarked in Birmingham for 1812. The hallmarks are all struck in the inside of lid of the box. On the outside is an attractively engraved crest of a coronet surmounted by a peacock.




Fine, undamaged condition with no splits, dents or repairs.
